Quest for a new living room lamp
It’s a truism that when you change one element of a room, suddenly you need to make more changes. I merely hung a new asian style print in my living room, and see that it has helped change the character of the room into an asian-themed area. My gunmetal gray torchiere lamps just don’t fit anymore. So I went back to Farreys.com to look for an idea for lamps that maybe Santa could throw down my chimney this Christmas.
As I’ve mentioned before, Farreys offers all kinds of lamps, and I found an outdoor lantern-style sconce there at the beginning of the summer. This time, I was pretty sure I wanted another set of torchieres, since they don’t require a table and light a greater area. But by using Farreys’ search tools I also saw an option for floor lamps. Not being a lighting expert, I couldn’t really see a difference between torchieres and floor lamps, but I found some modern, minimalist lamps that might work for our new living room look. Now I just need to talk to Santa about my latest lighting needs!
